At Viska Homecare, we believe individuals with complex medical and personal care needs deserve more than basic assistance - they deserve structured, accountable, RN-supervised care at home.

We are a Maryland OHCQ-licensed Residential Services Agency based in Silver Spring, providing home care and skilled nursing support to older adults, adults with disabilities, and families who need dependable care in the home setting.

Every client begins with a Registered Nurse assessment. Every care plan is developed based on the client’s condition, needs, and goals. Every caregiver is background-checked, trained, and supervised to help ensure safe, consistent, and personalized support.Viska Homecare is not built around a one-size-fits-all model.

Post-Hospital Discharge & Transition Care Coming home after surgery, a stroke, or a hospital stay is one of the most vulnerable moments a family faces. Our hospital-to-home program begins before your first shift — our RN reviews the discharge summary, briefs your caregiver team, and builds a care plan designed to keep your loved one home and out of the hospital.

Dementia & Alzheimer's Memory Care

Our dementia-trained caregivers use structured routines, cognitive engagement techniques, and specialized communication skills to keep your loved one safe, calm, and connected — at every stage of the disease.

Chronic Disease Management at Home

From diabetes and COPD to Parkinson's disease and congestive heart failure — our RN-supervised care team monitors condition changes, manages medications, and coordinates with your physician so your loved one receives consistent, clinically informed care at home.

Medication Management & Administration

Our licensed caregivers assist with medication administration under direct RN supervision. Every client's medication schedule is documented, reviewed at each supervisory visit, and reported to the family if any concern arises.

Ostomy/Colostomy Care

Living with an ostomy or colostomy requires dignity, consistency, and skilled support. Viska provides attentive ostomy and colostomy care designed to promote comfort, hygiene, skin integrity, and confidence in daily living. Our team supports clients with routine care needs while helping families maintain safety, privacy, and quality of life at home.

Respite Care for Family Caregivers

Trusted, temporary relief for family caregivers — a few hours, a full day, or several days. Your loved one receives the same quality care while you rest.

Cathether Care
